Water Quality Testing, Make Sure Every Drop Counts

Water contaminants (Well Water or City Water): Drinking water, especially well water, may contain several contaminants, some hazardous and some not. Nevertheless, even when the water supply appears safe, problems can be present. We always recommend testing well water during a real estate transaction for bacteria, Physical and inorganic Chemicals, and Radon. City water should also be tested periodically.

Our Water Bundle testing will test wells for Bacteria, pH, Turbidity, Color, Odor, Chloride, Nitrite Nitrogen, Nitrate Nitrogen, Sulfate, Calcium, Magnesium, Hardness, Sodium, Copper, Iron, Manganese, Fluoride, Radon, Lead, Arsenic, and uranium.

For Well Water, the Water Bundle is a collection of the most common well water testing recommended by the State of Connecticut; other water testing is available with advanced notice. These tests would include:

Metals: Barium, Silver, Cadmium, Chromium, Mercury, Selenium
Volatile Organic Compounds
Pesticides

For City Water, Our City Water Scan will test for: Bacteria, pH, Turbidity, Color, Odor, Chloride, Nitrite Nitrogen, Nitrate Nitrogen, Sulfate, Calcium, Magnesium, Hardness, Sodium, Copper, Iron, Manganese, Fluoride, plus lead flush and total chlorine residue.
