Water Quality Testing
Water contaminants (public or well water): Drinking water, especially well water, may contain several contaminants, some of which are hazardous, and some not. Nevertheless, even when the water supply appears safe, problems can be present. We always recommend testing well water for bacteria, Physical & Inorganic Chemicals, and Radon.
Our testing will test for: Bacteria, pH, Turbidity, Color, Odor, Chloride, Nitrite Nitrogen, Nitrate Nitrogen, Sulfate, Calcium, Magnesium, Hardness, Sodium, Copper, Iron, Manganese, Fluoride, Radon, Lead, Arsenic and uranium.
While the water bundle is a collection of the most common well water testing recommended by the State of Connecticut, other water testing is available with advanced notice. These tests would include:
-Metals: Barium, Silver, Cadmium, Chromium, Mercury, Selenium
-Volatile Organic Compounds
-Pesticides
Home Quest Inspection will collect the water samples as needed. The water samples are analyzed by an independent certified testing laboratory. For your water quality testing services, we will appreciate if you will contact us!
